Bath time

The kids decided to be "little hams" for the camera during bath time last night. Things are going good and James is feeling good and doing an excellent job with potty training this go round.

Please pray for us this week-Greg has knee surgery on Monday for torn meniscus and and James goes for a clinic appt. on Wednesday for all his meds and he starts steroids! We will definitely need your prayers this week!

James' new haircut

I know..I know..I can't believe we cut it. After much thought we decided he needed something shorter because its hot and because he was developing a rat's nest in the back that he wouldn't let anyone comb out. We keep telling ourselves it will go back..after all a year and a half ago he was bald as an onion. So here is our big 3 year old who when you ask him how old he is he says "five"! Have a great weekend.

A Summer Treat

/>

We have been passing this shaved ice stand on 2978 and finally we decided to go tonight after dinner. The kids definitely enjoyed it. We started at the table outside but it was so hot we moved to the car with the air on full blast.

James continues to do well, enjoying his summer. We have geared back up for potty training again. It's almost been a week and he is really doing great. We head back to MDA in a couple of weeks for our regular appointment. Thanks for checking in!

Together again

Well I am a little late in posting these pictures. Reid and Marks got here on Saturday and they left on Wednesday. From the time they were here until the time they left we were on the go. James had so much fun with all his cousins, aunts, and uncles, and of course Nana. We were sad to see them go.

On Wednesday, James went to the clinic for an LP and chemo. Because he is 3 now, they upped his does of intrathecal methotrexate. He seemed to tolerate that pretty well. He also got his vincristine and pentamidine and he started steroids. This has been a pretty challenging time on steroids. Thank goodness today is the last day. Greg is going out of town for a couple of days with work so things will be hard until the steroids get out of his system.

Please continue to pray for James-that he stays healthy and the steroids get out of his system quickly.

Happy Birthday James

Happy Birthday James! Daddy and I can't believe you are already 3 years old. What an eventful 3 years you have had. You still continue to be the bravest little boy we know. We love you so much and can't wait to see what this year holds for you!
