2 years ago today...

We heard the words your son has leukemia. I can still remember how I felt...completely numb, no emotion. I remember sitting there at 12:30 at night and we had been at the hospital for 12 hours having no idea what was going on. It still hard at times to revisit that night, in fact when I talk about it I still tear up and cry. We have come so far, James has come so far in this journey-sometimes it I think-does he really have this?

No words can describe the gratitude and thankfulness we have for each one of you that have prayed and supported us through this journey. We feel truly blessed by friends and family who love us and who have been there for us. Thank you.

Here are some pictures from our journey....

I know it's tough to remember that day, but I'm glad you have made it through those yucky two years. Praying for the next year to go quickly!

You have had quite a journey! Hard to believe 2 years has passed--I bet some days it feels like 20 years and other days it feels like yesterday!
I appreciate you sharing the good, the bad and the ugly with us via your blog! I want you to know that I am praying for James and for your whole family. Joy, you are amazing!! Without sounding "motherly" (but I am a mom so I can't help it LOL) I am proud of you!! You amaze me that not only are you conquering James' health issues, but you have had sweet Adrianne and getting ready to welcome a new little one and going to school as well!! I don't think I would be able to do all that you are doing with such great character!

So very thankful James continues to do well. I know you still are on this "side of the mountain", but I continue to go boldly to the Throne Room for James, it warms my heart to whisper his name. Just a little further and he will be on the Other Side Of the Mountain.

Hope you have a great week. Thinking of you guys!
